24-hour composting machines: do they work?

As cities are growing there is a push towards getting rid of the waste. Some think, some don’t. In the name of solutions some cities are making grave mistakes by pushing and adopting 24-hour composting machines. But do they really make compost? Cities like Pune and Noida have burnt their hands already. Sharing a paper published sometime ago authored by Shyamala Mani and me on 24 to 48 hour Composting Machines: Do They Really Produce Compost as the Final Output and Their Viability for Community Composting in Indian Cities.
